I have been an artist my entire life, working in multiple mediums: clay, charcoal, watercolor, pen and ink and writing fiction. Although I have loved each medium, the one that truly moves me is photography.

As an artist, I feel alive, energized and at ease behind the lens. My work photographing landscapes arises from both my love of the Maine outdoors and the intense connection I feel to Nature. When my work is going well, I am filled with a sense of peaceful awareness. I begin a composition by observing the area, looking at it in different angles until I feel a connection with it. My goal as a photographer is that when people view my work, they feel a direct link to the spirit of that place.

While I specialize in photographing landscapes, I have been the Contributing Photographer for Portland Magazine. I work for Maine Office of Tourism, Visit Portland, The Greater Portland Convention & Visitors Bureau and many other local businesses. I have had images in Downeast Magazine, Popular Photography, Digital Camera Magazine (in England), Old House Journal, Yankee Magazine and Maine Food & Lifestyle Magazine. My work is featured at Lisa-Marie’s Made in Maine in both Portland and Bath, Maine and in many of the concessions shops in Acadia National Park as well as being exhibited on the walls of the Jordan Pond House restaurant.
